WorldPeacefull Empowerment offers workshops that assist management and staff to understand the various facets of workplace bullying. The workshops provide information on government perspectives and legislative responses to bullying, what drives bullying, the types of bullying and how to build resilience and community to buffer staff and management when faced with bullying situations.

Overview of Occupational Health and Safety Legislation and WorkSafe or Safe Work Guidance Notes (State appropriate)
Duration:
2 hour briefing (facts only), 4 hour half day (plus role plays)

Getting Clear about Defining Bullying
Workshop Focus:
Creating role plays to understand bullying behaviour versus management directions
Duration:
2 hour briefing, half day (4 hours)
Target Audience:
All management
Expected Outcomes:
Clearer understanding about what is bullying and what is management. Participants will understand the boundary and have a clear perspective of what is bullying and what it is not. Moreover, the workshop will identify the types of bullying.

Laughter, Empathy and Anti-Bullying
Workshop Focus:
The workshop focuses on the importance of humour for relaxation and positivity and combines this with information on empathy building and conflict resolution. The workshop discusses bullying and strategies on how to deal with it. It links the wellbeing areas of laughter and empathy as a means of preventative strategies and to empower participants.
Duration:
Full day workshop (6 hours)
Target Audience:
Management and staff
Expected Outcomes:
Clearer understanding about bullying and how positive skills such as empathy and humour de-escalate conflict and build resilience in staff. The staff will develop critical thinking skills and philosophy to gain a deeper understanding of bullying. The participants will gain skills in reading body language, visualisation, improved communication skills and the prevention of bullying.
